Condition: Honest vintage condition with an untouched two-tone dial displaying attractive patina throughout. Stainless steel case shows age-related wear while retaining strong vintage character. Recently serviced and running well.
 
Notes: Laco is best known today for its historic pilot's watches, but throughout the mid-century period the company also produced beautifully executed civilian timepieces like this.
 
The contrasting black and cream dial, applied hour markers and sculpted hands create a striking design that remains instantly recognisable decades later. The "Wasserdicht" designation—German for waterproof—reflects an era when improved case construction became a major selling point.
